20-hour loadshedding continues in Lalamusa
From Our Correspondent LALAMUSA: Long unscheduled loadshedding continued on Sunday, which marred people’s weekly holiday. The villagers, on the other hand, have alleged that Gepco is observing unscheduled 20-hour loadshedding. In urban areas 16-hour unscheduled loadshedding is being observed, making the life of citizens a hell in this humid weather. MARRIAGE HALLS OVERCHARGING PEOPLE: Marriage ceremonies are on the rise before the start of Muharram. Taking advantage of the situation, the owners of several marriage halls have increased the rate of per-head item from Rs 100 to Rs 250. On the other hand, some policemen have warned the shopkeepers including medical stores on Muharram procession routes to keep their shops shut for 10 days.
