Mattek-Sands, Safarova win US Open women´s doubles
NEW YORK: Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova won their third Grand Slam women´s doubles title on Sunday with a 2-6, 7-6 (7/5), 6-4 win over French top seeds Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mlade**vic.
Mattek-Sands of the United States and Czech partner Safarova also won the Australian Open and Roland Garros titles in 2015.
