Interior Ministry denies making any promise with MWM chief
ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry on Monday denied making any commitment with chief of Majlis Wahdatul Muslimin (MWM) Allama Nasir Abbas for ending his party,s strike.Commenting on the statement of chief of MWM Allama Nasir Abbas, a spokesman of Interior Ministry said in a statement that the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan neither made any promise with the MWM chief **r given him any assurance for ending the strike.He said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had gone to hospital on August 5 to inquire about the health of Allama Nasir Abbas Jaffery.
During the meeting the spokesman said Interior minister had only pledged to help Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen in taking up their issues with the provincial governments that too if Majlis avoid putting any condition.
