Tiger Shroff roped in for Student of the Year 2
It appears Karan Johar has found the lead star for his college romance Student of the Year 2, and it’s **ne other than India’s latest superhero from Punjab, the Flying Jatt, Tiger Shroff. Earlier reports suggested that K Jo had called in Shroff for a screen test for the sequel to his earlier hit. It turns out that Shroff passed it with flying colours and has landed himself a film with B-town biggest mainstream filmmaker.
K Jo confirmed the news on Twitter saying, “It’s official….directed by Punit Malhotra, Student of the Year 2 (soty2) with Tiger Shroff @itigershrof.” However, sources close to Shroff have revealed that the actor is yet to sign the film. “Tiger has been offered Student of the Year 2. He is yet to hear the final narration post which he will most likely sign the film. He is quite excited about it (sequel) as it’s a Karan Johar film,” an inside source shared. Earlier, rumours were abuzz that Student of the Year 2 will mark the debut of Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan’s in Bollywood alongside Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara.
