One Direction's Liam Payne is going solo, too

Liam Payne is also going his own direction.

The One Direction member an**unced Thursday that he's signed a deal with the UK's Capitol Records, becoming the third member of the group to report a solo deal.*

"Happy to have signed to @CapitolUK. They have an amazing history of artists, I hope I can follow in their footsteps," he wrote on Twitter. "One direction will always be my home and family but I'm very excited to see what this chapter brings."

At the beginning of the year, Payne teased a collaboration with Juicy J, and while a demo version of the song leaked a few months later, it has yet to receive an official release.* Read more...
