Kirsten Dunst reportedly to direct Dakota Fanning in 'The Bell Jar'
   Kirsten Dunst is set to make her feature film debut in a big way: Adapting Sylvia Path's iconic 1963 **vel, The Bell Jar.* According to Entertainment Weekly, Dunst has signed on to direct, with Dakota Fanning set to star.* The Bell Jar, Plath's only **vel, is the semi-autobiographical story of Esther Greenwood and her summer in New York City and descent into and entrapping depression. It was released shortly before her death by suicide in 1963. Priority Pictures optioned the rights from Studio Canal, according to Deadline, and production is expected to start in early 2017.
