World needs to recognize aspirations of Kashmiris: COAS
RAWALPINDI: Corps Commanders Conference was held in Rawalpindi on Wednesday with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in the chair.
According to the ISPR, the forum took an in-depth review of internal security situation and discussed professional matters. The Army Chief appreciated the relentless efforts of Intelligence and Law Enforcement Agencies towards ensuring peace and security during Eid days in the face of numerous threats. External security situation was discussed with particular emphasis on situation in Afghanistan. To scrutinize cross border movement and ensure strict check on terrorist's movement, the forum reviewed progress of measures being taken for effective border management.
