Two women killed in Bannu
BANNU: Two women were killed and a**ther sustained injuries in separate incidents of violence in the district, local and police sources said on Saturday.
In the first incident, an internally displaced woman identified as Zainab Bibi from Miranshah in **rth Waziristan, who was residing at a makeshift camp in Haved Khas area of the district, ended her life by shooting at herself. The reason behind the suicide could **t be ascertained. Separately, a**ther woman identified as Zaitoon Bibi, a resident of Qaziaan Chowk Fatima Khel, was allegedly killed by her brother Akhtar alias Bobal in the limits of Saddar Police Station. The motive behind the murder was said to be a petty argument between the victim and the accused. In a**ther incident, one Nabeela Bibi was allegedly shot injured by accused Jhangi and Jamshed over a petty dispute in Khojri Babar village in the limits of Kakki Police Station.
