Bilawal for use of latest tech**logy to make Karachi safe
KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday emphasised the use of latest tech**logy and tools and for providing easy access to the common people for disseminating information and complaints for making Karachi a safer city.
The PPP leader gave this idea while chairing a meeting with top officials of the Sindh government at the Bilawal House, where he was briefed on the latest law and order situation by Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal, Chief Secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon and IGP AD Khowaja. On the occasion, Bilawal stressed the use of new tech**logy, gadgets and communication tools for improving policing and coordination among agencies or departments. He emphasised that the common people should be able to approach the police and other law-enforcement agencies without any hindrances. For this, he said, an open-door policy must be adopted up to the level of SPs and DIGs concerned. Bilawal also suggested to the home minister and IGP to hold regular media briefings on law and order to apprise the public about the steps and efforts being taken by the provincial government to create a peaceful environment for citizens.
