Dear Brits, let U.S. history show you why it's worth sticking with the EU
If I had my druthers, I'd be back in the UK this Thursday voting in the referendum on Britain's membership in the European Union. But*we Brits who've lived elsewhere than our fair island home for the past 15 years don't get to vote, ** matter how often we return or how much of our pay went to H.M. Treasury back in the day.*
So here I sit in America, having paid taxation, with ** representation. And that reminds me of a story you might consider, Dear back-home Brits with a say in the nation's future, as you make your way into the polling booth.*
