Nawaz turns to PPP whenever he is in crisis: Chandio
HYDERABAD: Sindh Information Adviser Maula Bakhsh Chandio said on Sunday the prime minister turned to the PPP whenever he found himself in a crisis, and even **w the prime minister had asked Asif Ali Zardari to play his role in saving democracy.
The adviser was talking to the media during his visit to Qasimabad where he observed the water facility being run by PPP workers. He visited Qasimabad under the instructions of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Claiming that the electricity crisis in Sindh was artificial, Chandio said that some ministers of the PML-N didn’t even like the name Sindh, and they didn’t want to see a continuation of democracy. The adviser said that the prime minister had to listen to the voice of Sindh.He said the federal government must look into the fact that the smaller provinces were drifting apart. Maula Bakhsh Chandio said, “We are democratic people, and we want to see democracy to progress, but some friends and ministers of the prime minister do **t want democracy. ** wonder, then, that these people are giving such advice to the prime minister that would endanger democracy.” He said the Federation had been unkind to Sindh and that was why Karachi was being subjected to loadshedding for hours while the rest of the province was being deprived of electricity for days at a stretch. “However, we do **t want to create a crisis and would **t resort to taking out public rallies against the Federation on the issue of power loadshedding, a thing which Shahbaz Sharif used to do when the PPP was in power at the Centre,” the adviser said. However, he hastened to add that if public pressure increased, then things could go out of control.
