Three killed in Lakki Marwat
LAKKI MARWAT: A group of armed men killed two persons including a woman and injured a**ther of the same family in Shagai village here on Saturday morning.
Police sources said the attackers, who belonged to Janikhel Wazir tribe in Frontier Region Bannu, had a family dispute with the victims. The police also said that attackers, disguised as soldiers, forced their entry into the house of one Abdullah in Lakki Marwat and opened fire, killing a man and a woman while injuring a**ther. The deceased were identified as Hafeezullah and Sadia Bibi while the injured as Sania. The attackers also abducted Sher Wali and Abdullah Khan. However, an armed lashkar comprised of villagers chased the attackers and succeeded in freeing Sher Wali. The bodies and injured were shifted to a local hospital. Police registered a case against the attackers and started an investigation. Separately, a**ther man identified as one Muhammad Rehan was killed in Chuharkhel village in the jurisdiction of Shaheed Haibat Ali Khan Police Station in Darra Pezu Town. Father of the victim, Ghani Rehman, registered a case with the police accusing Sakhi, Ejaz, Fida, Ali Muhammad and Taj Muhammad of the crime. أكثر...
