Education CM’s priority: MNA
From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: PML-N MNA Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar Saturday said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif wanted to promote education in the province. Laying foundation stone of the building of Government Girls High School at Chak 55/SP, the MNA said education is the priority of the CM. The MNA said it was my mission to work for the locals especially in terms of providing facilities for education of the locals. He urged the students to concentrate on their studies. Police arrested accused Safdar Ali of Luqman Meeroka with nine litres liquor, accused Shafqat of Bonga Hayat with four litres liquor, accused Muhammad Ramzan of Bongga Hayyat with 1,150 gram charas, accused Zeeman of Shahbir Chowk with 306 gram charas, accused Abdul Razzaq of Chak 65/D with 300 gram charas, accused Azmat of Farred Kot with 120 gram charas, accused Shafiq of Mandimore, Pakpattan, with 40 gram charas, accused Younus of Barkat Chowk Qaboola with a pistol. They took away gold ornament, cash, cells phones and a rifle. Police have registered a case. BODY FOUND: Police Friday found a dead body of a man lying abandoned near Machi Pura area. Reportedly, Sadr police founded the dead body of an unidentified man lying in Canal Khadar. Rescue-1122 staff took the body to the DHQ hospital for postmortem. Police have registered a case. PESTICIDE: The deputy district agriculture ******r Friday raided Sakandar Chowk and booked a shopkeeper on charges of selling expired pesticide.
