Ishaq Dar unanimously elected ADB vice chairman
FRANKFURT: The ADB’s Board of Gover**rs on Thursday unanimously elected Pakistan’s Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar as vice chairman of the Bank for year 2016-17 on the concluding day of the 49th annual meeting of the ADB held here in Frankfurt.
The ADB’s Board of Gover**rs elect two vice chairs every year and this year they elected Italy and Pakistan for 2016-17. After being elected as the vice chairman for Pakistan, **w the country will have a better say in ADB’s business and affairs in its official capacity.
