T-Pain, real name Faheem Rashad Najm, sat down with Vulture to discuss his recently released mixtape, his evolution as a person over the past few years from an auto-tune only artist to someone who can show off his talents beyond the mechanized voice and revealed what happened to the rumored Aaliyah Collaboration that was set to be a part of his tape, The Iron Way. At the end of the interview, Najm coyly revealed that FKA Twigs, an artist who he looks to for inspiration had recently become secretly engaged to her movie star boyfriend Robert Pattinson. He caused a huge stir with these comments, which happened to come on April first and T-Pain probably deserves the award for biggest troll of the day after he revealed he was just messing with everyone.
