Rosie O'Donnell's departure over at "The View" could **t possibly have come at a better time -- for Whoopi Goldberg. The two have clashed almost daily ever since O'Donnell rejoined the roundtable discussion last September, leaving the network scrambling to ease on-camera tensions in the hopes that the sinking ratings would then somehow stabilize. After mulling over possibilities, ABC Producers had apparently decided to Fire Goldberg, but then O'Donnell quit first.
