Doc tied to Rivers' death previously sued for malpractice
Dr. Renuka Bankulla was previously in a lawsuit involving a mother who died after Bankulla dispensed anesthesia 'in an inadequate manner' during childbirth. Bankulla's lawyers say that case has '**thing to do with the Joan Rivers situation.' Bankulla is involved in the multimillion dollar lawsuit Rivers' daughter filed on Monday.
