Waka Flocka Flame managed to upstage the American Music Awards on Sunday night when his new commercial for Pine Bros. Throat lozenges aired during the award show. The spot featured the pot-loving rapping surrounding in a cloud of ***** and extolling the virtues of the Throat Drops to aid against mi**r Throat discomfort. Of course, the clincher was at the end of the 30-second ad, when the rapper shot a k**wing glance to the source of the ***** and said, "So the next time you need sore Throat relief - for what whatever reason - take your Pine Bros." The ad quickly went viral, in part due to the sheer randomness of Waka starring in a Throat Drops ad and the wink-wink allusions to smoking pot. In short it looked more like a parody commercial from Saturday Night Live rather than a real ad. But then again, it did get everyone talking, so maybe Waka did his part.
