Meanwhile Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has warned that if the UN Security Council fails to pass a resolution setting a deadline for Israel to end its occupation of Palestinian territories, he will go to the International Criminal Court. Those proposals have also caused a rift with Washington, which has been working towards a softer resolution that would reduce Israel?s eco**mic stranglehold.
