Security forces in the Prophet's Mosque detained a foreign national for allegedly snatching a woman's handbag while she was walking outside the mosque's courtyard. Madinah Police spokesman Col. Fahad Al-Ghannam said the woman reported the theft to a security guard and accused a man of African origin, who was walking beside her, of the theft.
