</p>A CITY jeweller hosted a glamorous party to celebrate the Queenâ??s Diamond Jubilee.
Boodles on Lord Street served up diamonds, tiaras and champagne with a â??Royleâ?? appearance from comedian Ricky Tomlinson who came as his alter ego Jim Royle.
Decorated in vintage bunting, the store was packed with loyal customers who enjoyed a three-course meal cooked by chef Paul Askew from the London Carriageworks.
Guests also enjoyed operatic performances from the Johnson Brothers, including the National Anthem.
Nicholas Wainwright, the managing director, said: â??We are delighted to celebrate the Diamond jubilee surrounded by some of the most stunning diamonds in the world.â?*
