Matrix 4 lines up Sense8 reunion with its latest casting

With Matrix 4 now filming, there is more casting news being released and the latest is Sense8 alum, Brian J Smith, according to Deadline.

He joins his Sense8 co-star Toby Onwumere, who has already been announced to join the sci-fi movie.

The long-awaited follow up to the original trilogy – starring Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity – is shrouded in secrecy, but we do have some theories about where this outing might take them.

The first images from filming have been cropping up and a really exciting one shows Neo riding on the back of Trinity’s motorcycle, so at least we know they’re alive in some capacity.

It comes just days after Reeves was spotted on set wearing a bathrobe and black cloak, but whether that’s him in costume or just returning from a relaxing soak, remains to be seen.

Alongside the returning Reeves and Moss, and Jada Pinkett-Smith, new cast members for the movie include Mindhunter star Jonathan Groff, Aquaman‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, How I Met Your Mother‘s Neil Patrick Harris and Iron Fist‘s Jessica Henwick

Lana Wachowski is returning to direct, co-writing the script with The Lazarus Project‘s Aleksandar Hemon and Cloud Atlas writer David Mitchell.
