Google?s New Super Bowl Ad About An Elderly Widower Has Everyone ?Bawling?

With the Super Bowl now just a few days away, Google has released its new commercial for the big day – and you’ll need to brace yourself, as it’s already making people ‘bawl’.


Set to officially air during the NFL championship game this Sunday, the 90-second ad follows a widowed grandfather as he calls on the help of Google to remember his late wife, Loretta.


After a Google search for ‘how to not forget’ prompts the Elderly man to ‘repeat a detail’, he uses voice command to ask his Google Assistant to do precisely that – first requesting that it shows him ‘photos of me and Loretta’, which it dutifully does.


We see a poignant slideshow featuring various snaps from their lifetime together, including a photo from a trip to Sitka in Alaska, along with another of them smiling with each other in their home.
