NEW YORK: Prime Minister Imran Khan Monday called on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.Both the leaders discussed the human rights violations in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, bilateral ties and matters of mutual interests in the meeting.The premier will hold several more meetings with his counterparts from various countries and participate in high-level UN summits on climate change, sustainable development, universal health coverage and financing for development.PM Imran's US visit is being considered Kashmir-centric, revolving around India's decision to annex the occupied Kashmir and the ongoing human rights abuses in the disputed territory.
