For those lucky enough to attend Celebration Chicago, the major panels are only the tip of the iceberg, but for everyone else following from home, they’ll be the main attractions. Lucasfilm has already confirmed presentations forآ*Episode IX, The Mandalorian, and their various animation shows. History’s proven there will be some marketing materials unveiled at these panels, so we’re running down What fans can Expect over the next few days. Lucasfilm clearly has something big planned here, as they’ve yet to even announce the film’s official title (despite the movie wrapping about two months ago). The studio seems to be pulling a page out of theآ*Avengers: Endgame playbook and saving the title reveal for the trailer, which will surely cap off the panel. There should also be lots of information about the film. In the past, Lucasfilm’s revealed new characters and teased plot points at Celebration. Theآ*Star Wars 9 panel is on Friday, April 12 from 11 am – 12 pm CDT. The Mandalorian Trailer (& Release Date?) Related: What to Expect From The Mandalorian TV Show The Mandalorian panel, which takes place on Sunday, April 14 from 11 am – 12 pm CDT, will probably also end with the first bits of footage from the streaming show. The only question is if fans will learn the release date, because it’s likely connected to Disney Plus’ launch. If Disney announces when their subscription service will be available at an investors’ meeting on April 11, Lucasfilm can then confirm theآ*Mandalorian release date. The Clone Wars Revival Trailer Lucasfilm surprised everyone last summer at San Diego Comic-Con when they announced the fan-favoriteآ*Clone Wars animated series was getting a revival so it could finally end its story on its own terms. Theآ*Clone Wars panel takes place Sunday, April 14 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm CDT, where a “sneak peek” will be shown. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a trailer there as well, building hype for the anticipated return. Likeآ*The Mandalorian, this will be on Disney Plus. Jedi Fallen Order Trailer Related: Fallen Order Is Do or Die for EA Star Wars video games haven’t had the best of luck in recent years, but everyone’s hoping the tide changes withآ*Fallen Order. The story follows a young Padawan in the aftermath of Order 66, and Lucasfilm will be spotlighting the game during a panel on Saturday, April 13 from 1:30 – 2:30 pm CDT. In addition to learning more details about the game, people should also be treated to a trailer. There are high hopes forآ*Fallen Order, which is part of Triple Force Friday this fall. Any Other Big Movie Announcements? Episode IXآ*is the end of the current slate ofآ*Star Wars films, but Lucasfilm as a lot more in the works. There are currently two separate trilogies being developed by Rian Johnson and David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, the latter of which is said to revolve around the Old Republic. These movies are currently without release dates, and Celebration seems like a logical platform to announce future plans. However, nothing’s been confirmed yet. The studio may be waiting until another time to unveil a slate. They can schedule these at any time and keep Celebration focused on the present. Key Release Dates
