SIALKOT: Owing to unprovoked firing and shelling from the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) at the Sialkot Working Boundary on Monday, a Rangers official embraced martyrdom while a civilian was injured. According to the official sources, the Indian BSF opened unprovoked and intensified firing and shelling at the Bajwat, Phuklian and other sectors of the Working Boundary.A bullet fired by an Indian sniper hit Rangers man Naik Jahanzeb in the head at Kalian Wazir post in the Phuklian Sector and he was martyred on the spot. A motorcycle rider named Shahid, s/o Rehmat Ali, sustained bullet injuries in the same locality. The injured was rushed to the CMH. The Chenab Rangers also returned the firing from Indian BSF in a befitting manner.
