I am tentatively looking for a new horse, a year is quite enough without and I have the hankering back (and have done for a while, but had some other things to pay off first, boring being sensible isn't it :p ) I do not have the best eye, and I know how wonderful you guys are so if anyone has a spare 5 minutes I would love some help in looking. I usually go for 17hh+, gelding, hunter type.. but I am thinking I may branch out and look at other types this time. My main limitation will be my budget, which I am happy to work with! So must have's are: - Under/very close to £3k - Be able to carry 11.5st, so something with, or with potential to have, a bit of substance to them. I like to have a good amount of horse under me! - Travels well enough - Four functional legs :D - Nothing younger than 3. What I would like to have, but am flexible on, is: - Under 11 (or older schoolmaster) - Something easy on the eye, hunter type, a nice thick set Welsh D.. or something with a nice face - Good for farrier etc, has seen some things. - Preferably backed - Something I could show one day - Not something that has learnt to rear. - Gelding I have seen this that I quite like the look of: https://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/s...keyword%3D17hh Ice Creams for getting this far!!
