any cons to livery on the edge of a forest?

I am looking at a change of livery as I am relocating. I have found a nice small livery which has partially steep fields on the edge of a large forest, with excellent hacking.I am wondering if there are any cons, to keeping your horses at a forest setting? Will there be a problem with midges, flies or is there anything else that may be a negative?TIA
