Ali was recalled last week after a photograph of him sharing a platform with 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed was circulated on social media. The reinstation of Ali comes as a setback for India, which had strongly conveyed to Palestine that the association of their Ambassador in Pakistan with terrorist Hafiz Saeed was unacceptable.
