Despite his girlfriend Heather getting diagnosed with breast cancer on Dec. 23, 2016, David Mosher decided to go ahead with his plan to propose on the very same day to let her know she wouldn't have to face the disease alone. Sadly, after nearly a year of battling a super-rare form of Cancer known as "triple negative," the pair learned this past September that it had spread to her brain and that she would need a breathing tube.
Although David says he's going to miss his wife each and every day, he's happy that their last day together was one surrounded by friends and family. "She's my great love, and I'm going to lose her, but I'm not losing her forever," David said. "Heather said, 'I want to keep fighting,' so that's the mantra I'm picking up. She was able to fight till the end, I'm going to fight until my end."
