49ers Fans Petition to Change Color of BART's 'Seahawks' Seats

The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) agency has just run into trouble with 49ers Fans — because the Seats in its brand new trains resemble the colors of the rival Seattle Seahawks

Nasir Safdar, a 49ers fan from Stockton, Calif. took to Change.org to file a petition requesting that BART Change the planned neon green and blue color scheme as a part of the transit agency's car redesign

Safdar's Petition has since received more than 1,400 signatures. He writes:

The Seattle Seahawks are the chief rivals of the San Francisco 49ers. To outfit BART car Seats in the team colors of the Seattle Seahawks (i.e. neon green and blue) is an outrage and a slap in the face of every San Francisco 49ers fan who rides BART. We call upon BART General Manager Grace Crunican (who oddly e**ugh worked as Director of the Seattle Department of Transportation prior to joining BART) to scrap plans to adorn BART car Seats in neon green and blue and instead choose other colors.
