ISLAMABAD: The district administration has given the Pakistan People?s Party (PPP) a No Objection Certificate (NOC) but with conditions for holding a public rally at the Parade Ground on December 5 in connection with its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The NOC, signed by the district magistrate, has set a number of conditions for the rally.
Under the NOC, fireworks and use of loudspeaker is not allowed, the deck sound will be restricted to the audience, the organizers will be personally responsible for security and parking, the participants will be searched, no political/sectarian speeches will be made, the organizers will arrange 50 security guards and 20 men with metal detectors, proper security arrangements for the participants will be made including ambulances as well as a proper set-back area for the participants, no liquor or any banned drug would be served/allowed during the function, no gambling, in any shape will be allowed, walk-through gates will be installed at entry gates, nothing contrary to law and order will be allowed, the organizers will be responsible for protection and security of the participants, the organizers will ensure all the arrangements to meet the international standards, the particulars of invited persons will be provided to concerned police station in advance, the detail list of private security arrangements shall be provided to concerned police station in advance, and all performance shall conform to the cultural value of Pakistan.
In case of violation, the organizers shall be proceeded against under the relevant law and the NOC can be withdrawn at any time without any notice.
