KARACHI: A clash between Anti-US protesters associated with the Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) and a police team deployed on the MA Jinnah Road for security duty left several, including the SHO of the Tipu Sultan police station, wounded on Sunday.
Karachi police said three other organisations were allowed to hold a demonstration against American President Donald Trump’s anti-Pakistan views last week, adding that they had recorded their protests at the press club and dispersed peacefully. However, the ISO had announced staging a rally from the Numaish roundabout to the US Consulate.
