ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday had he **t stopped the Islamabad lockdown, Things would have gone out of control as he never had a deal with the army.

He charged that Iqama was a form of protection and easy escape route. He demanded that under international agreements, the Central Bank of UAE must disclose all bank information of **n-residents’ bank accounts.

In a ****** of tweets, Imran wrote, “all our mafias keep Iqamas-residences in UAE because Central Bank UAE **t bound to **r does it disclose bank account details of UAE Iqama holders”.

Referring to the revelations of Iqamas, held by the prime minister and some other ministers, Imran said that the dishonesty of the prime minister and some of his ministers was “shocking even for those of us, who had k**wn their greed for money”.

The PTI chairman also referred to a report in a local English newspaper, and wrote, “so much for NS claims that eco**my is doing well. Facts clearly reveal otherwise”.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar, who hails from Sialkot, Thursday alleged Defence Minister Khawaja Asif lied regarding his Iqama (contract). He added the ruling “PML-N turning out to be Iqama party”.

Dar had lost 2013 general election to Asif in the Sialkot’s NA-110 constituency. He said Asif did **t declare his Iqama (contract) and employment with the company in the **mination papers he filed with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

At a news conference here, he termed Khawaja Asif as a mafia of Sialkot, who had changed names of each and every street and locality after his father’s name, Khawaja Safdar. He added even the name of Sialkot Medical College had been made Safdar Medical College.

Dar questioned how the defence minister's wife was able to invest millions in a housing scheme. The other day, through a social media message, he had revealed that Khawaja Asif also was Iqama holder and put a copy of his ‘Iqama’ on his social media account.

PTI leader contended that if Asif's money trail was questioned, he would also like Sharifs, present a letter from an Arab country to the apex court.

Speaking on the occasion, Fawad Chaudhry said the PTI would file references against federal ministers Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

He alleged that Prime Minister was the chairman of a Dubai-based company. Chaudhry said that the counsel of PML-N’s Hanif Abbasi was unaware of what they wanted from the Supreme Court.

He said, “They are using half-truths and half-lies to proceed with the case. The country k**ws these cases are just to blackmail the PTI.” Fawad was talking to journalists outside the Supreme Court.

“We will pursue a criminal case against Abbasi if he doesn’t apologise to Tareen. They will **t go for a stringent sentence if he apologises,” he **ted.

“The entire country is at a standstill. We don’t want to come out on the streets as we are telling people to wait for the verdict. We wish to solve all the issues within the limits of the law,” he maintained.

PTI’s leader Babar Awan has claimed that the Iqama-holding ministers had committed ‘treachery’ by having been employed overseas.

During chat with media persons here, he blasted Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and said that they would **t spare the ‘Godfather 2’ after holding ‘Godfather 1’ accountable.

Babar **tified that the Supreme Court bench, through Joint Investigation Team (JIT), put forward 13 questions for implementation in Panama Papers case before the Sharif family.
