ABHA - forests southwest the Kingdom are in danger due to the negative changes that affect plants and land and disrupt the ecological system, said Dr. Abdulmonem Abdulaziz, researcher in the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Center for Environment and Tourist Research and Studies at King Khaled University. Some of the indicators that show the deteriorating conditions of the forests are the large number of dead trees and the pale exterior looks of most of the trees, Dr. Abdulaziz said.
