Citing an unnamed source, Reutersreports Samsung plans to hold a launch event in New York City for the much-awaited Galaxy **te 8 smartphone in the second half of August. The report also says the **te 8 will have a curved screen that's is a bit larger than the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+. However, the **te 8 will have dual-camera system on the back, similar to camera systems on the iPhone 7 Plus or OnePlus 5 (the S8 and S8+ have a single rear camera)
The company was previously rumored to be releasing the device early to undercut Apple's an**uncements of the next iPhone, expected in September. Images of the device were also leaked in April. The rumored dual-camera system had also been previously reported.* Read more...
