ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said the Supreme Court should take **tice of the revelation made in a news report by Ansar Abbasi in The News regarding the inclusion of members in the JIT. If the report was correct, it might create doubts about the neutrality of the JIT, she added. She contended that **tice should also be taken of the documents, relating to the JIT, being released to the media and feared this could undermine the prime Minister and the ruling PML-N. Addressing a media conference here, she emphasised that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) should remain impartial and the forum should reject unfounded allegations, otherwise, history would **t forgive us if we did **t learn from it. She said that the two controversial members of JIT committed dishonesty by **t showing their association with parties. The Minister rejected outright some media reports that during the JIT proceedings, Hussain Nawaz faced health problem and asserted that calling in of ambulances was to trigger unrest. She said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif never sought immunity despite having the right and presented himself for accountability before the top forum and had himself suggested the formation of Joint Investigation Team or a commission with regards to the PanamaLeaks issue. The Minister said the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) repeatedly summoned PTI Chairman Imran Khan in two different cases today, as accused and he did **t appear. She said Imran was consistently levelling false allegations against the prime Minister and his family. The Minister added that those, who could **t provide record of 10 years money trail, were demanding money trail and record of even 1935 from the Sharif family. The Minister made it clear that the SC had been provided all relevant information and full cooperation was being extended to JIT, as the children of prime minister, despite having the option of **n-resident, did **t opt for it and Hussain Nawaz appeared before the JIT. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Asif Kirmani said his party has submitted the reservations in the Supreme Court and wanted a free and fair trial. He said we respect the courts and any verdict by the court will be accepted. Kirmani said the two members of JIT against whom reservations are expressed should detach themselves from the JIT. PML-N MNA Daniyal Aziz said the prime Minister had always cooperated with the apex court and presented himself to the law of the land. He said the objections raised by Hussain Nawaz on two members of JIT were being politicised by the opponents. He charged political midgets had failed every time in their bid, be it the lockdown call or civil disobedience drive. أكثر... ??????? ??????: Minister asks SC to take **tice of report on inclusion of JIT members || ??????: ahlam1399 || ??????: اسم منتداك
