?Pakistan wants talks, better ties with India, Afghanistan?

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that talks should start between Pakistan and India and there should be better relations between both the countries, saying that Pakistan also wants better relations with Afghanistan.

Sartaj Aziz said the United States adviser on national security has returned to the US being satisfied with their clarification with regard to issue of Afghanistan, saying that Pakistan and US should jointly resolve this issue.

He said that aim of the visit of the US national security adviser to Pakistan was to find out the way as to how both US and Pakistan could remove the hardships of the region.

Sartaj Aziz was expressing these views in an interview with the state run TV channel. He said that there were ups and downs in relations with US but as a whole relations of Pakistan and US had been positive and stable.

Sartaj said that it was their first contact with the US adviser on national security since the new government came into power in the US, saying that it was their permanent stance that Pakistan should **t support Taliban.

He said that Pakistan tried for conciliation but the opponents sabotaged twice, saying that at one occasion an**uncement was made regarding the death of Mullah Umar and Mullah Mansoor was killed through drone at second occasion.
