At this year’s show, Omron was in town to show off Project Zero 2.0, the latest version of their next-generation prototype. This new version incorporates a new inflatable sensing cuff system and steel micro-threads in the wristband to ensure accurate readings. It also measures physical activity and sleep. Oh, and it*wouldn’t be a 2.0 wearable without being thinner and lighter*and receiving a nice makeover as well, with a design that looks like a stylish watch.
While Project Zero 2.0 is still in development, Omron an**unced that the first version, **w called the HeartVue, will be available to purchase this spring.

Omron Shows Off Project Zero 2.0 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor
Last year at CES, we had the opportunity to preview Project Zero, a new generation of Omron Blood Pressure monitors that take the commonly used and clinically-validated inflatable cuff method and*fits it into a wrist-worn wearable.
