From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: District Coordination ******r (DCO) Irfan Ahmad Sindhu Tuesday urged politicians, scholars and civil society leaders to forge unity among their ranks for the stability of the country and sacred month of Muharram. Addressing a meeting of the peace committee, the DCO said Islam is a religion of peace. The DCO said the police and the district administration have already chalked out a comprehensive security plan for Muharram and Urs of Hazrat Baba Fareed (RA). DPO Malik Kamran Yusuf, ADC Arif Umar Aziz, AC PAKPATTAN Ashfaq Ahmad, District Information ******r Syed Suleman Hussain, member of peace committee and others also attended the meeting. SECTION 144 IMPOSED: The DCO Tuesday imposed section 144 around examination centres in the district and banned entry of unauthorised persons in examination centres.
