LONDON — Don't get me wrong, I love Mary Berry.

She's got an awesome sense of humour. She's kind and encouraging, but firm when she needs to be. She exudes the kind of serene wisdom **rmally reserved for those rare teachers you actually looked up to when you were in school. Basically, she's the Dumbledore of the baking world.

But she isn't the true heart of Bake Off.
