MQM MNA resigns; sends resignation to London ******

Karachi: MQM parliamentarian Sufyan Yousuf has sent his resignation letter to London Secretariat on Thursday after London based party leaders asked lawmakers to quit assemblies as the mandate was of MQM founder **t theirs.

Sufyan Yousuf was elected from NA-247 (Karachi-IX), an MQM stronghold.

On Wednesday, MQM London leader Nadeem Nusrat had asked parliamentarians to resign. “If they want to disengage themselves from the founder then they should resign from their positions because the mandate they are having is of MQM’s founder.”

He had demanded the parliamentarians, senators and member provincial assembly to submit their resignation letters.

However, late night Farooq Sattar rejected the demand of Nadeeem Nusrat and said that we have disengaged ourselves from MQM London and party members are working with same passion.
