Says making utmost efforts for betterment of institution;
asks employees **t to stay in ****** unnecessarily

LAHORE: The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, warned on Thursday that officials that do **t have good reputation among their peers, colleagues and subordinates would ** longer remain in the judicial institution.

The chief justice was addressing a gathering of officials and employees of the Punjab Judicial Academy on Thursday. During his speech, he said that **t one official of the judicial system was, by any means, allowed to mistreat his subordinate and warned that action would be taken against any ******r whose subordinate had unattended concerns.

** official would remain in the judicial system if he or she does **t have a good reputation at the workplace, he said adding that his door was always open for employees who were irked by wrongful treatment.

Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said that a gardener had the same right to justice as a judicial registrar. Later, addressing the LHC employees at an Eid Milan party on Thursday, Lahore High Court Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah asked the courts’ employees **t to stay at the ****** unnecessarily. Come and leave the ****** in time and try to spend time with your families so that you can perform their official duties efficiently, he said and added only well-reputed employees would remain part of the judiciary and the corrupt have ** room to stay there.

The CJ said jobs in the judiciary are given with the blessings of God and benefits for the employees of the judiciary in the Punjab were far better than Those of other departments, therefore, it was duty of the LHC employees to struggle for good repute of their institution. Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, Registrar Syed Khurshid Anwar Rizvi, member Inspection Team Sardar Tahir Sabir and others were present at the ceremony.

The CJ said from an additional registrar to gardener, all employees are an integral part of this institution. He said grades do **t matter, it is integrity and work of an employee that matters. He said if they give their energies for the welfare of this institution, in return it is the duty of the institution to keep in mind their needs.

The CJ said according to the financial matters of the provincial judiciary, they had sent a summary to a high-level government committee, which has approved it.He said he was doing his utmost efforts for the betterment of the institution and the system but it was only possible with the cooperation of the staff. He said it was the responsibility of every staffer to point out corrupt elements and discourage them who bring a bad name to the institution. He said they only should think for the development of the institution so that ** one can question its integrity and respect. He asked the employees to keep their thinking positive.

He said doors of his ****** are opened for all employees of the courts and anyone can share any of his complaint or grouse with him. He said they should do their duties with responsibility and believe in God. He said due to security concerns, CCTV cameras are being installed in all branches of the LHC.
