According to sources, the personal bail was given for Faisal Vawda by his employee. Prior to this, Faisal Vawda had been taken into custody by Karachi police, after his protest had caused a massive traffic jam at Shahrah-e-Faisal road in the metropolis and caused immense problems to citizens.
SSP Malir Rao Anwar and a contingent of police officials had arrived to take Faisal Vawda into custody. Police had fired shells and even baton charged protesters to disperse them.
Faisal Vawda had been shifted to the airport police station after he had been arrested from Shahrah-e-Faisal. PTI leaders Naeem-ul-Haque and Imran Ismail had said that PTI had **thing to do with Vawda's protest, which had been conducted by his own accord.
