LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Mansoor Ali Shah, addressed the Judicial Academy on Friday where he expressed his concerns over the current Academy training sessions and discussed future plans of the training.
During his address to the academy, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said that there was a need to rectify the faults of the academy, which will **t be hidden or swept under the carpet. He said the management was responsible for training all the staff. He also discussed future plans of training sessions that would commence from October.
The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court further said that trainees will be given lectures through video links as well. A monitoring cell will be established in the Academy soon which will review performance.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah also stated that the Academy has already trained 15% of 26,000 ******rs. He said that all the judges and ******rs will be trained within one year. He emphasized the need for judges to be aware of the new rules and for that an**unced that Bench Books will be allotted to judges. These bench books will help them in making decisions, he said.
