Formidable swimmer Katie Ledecky won five medals — four gold, one silver — in Rio. And dang, those things are heavy when you wear them all at once. So when Ledecky threw the first pitch at a Washington Nationals game on Wednesday, she needed a temporary medal-sitter.

Luckily, major league MVP Bryce Harper was right there to help.
