PESHAWAR: At least Four people, including an elected chairman village council of the local government, were killed and three others injured in cross firing incident between two groups near Nandarka village, Shakardara area, Tehsil Lacki, District Kohat.
According to Police six armed men riding on three motorcycles opened firing at a vehicle in Shakardara in which Four people, including a father and his two sons, were killed and three others injured. Chairman of a Village Council Munir was also among those killed from the rival party, police said.
An official of the Police Station Lachi said Rafique along with his two son Shafique and Atiq were on board a car when their rival party riding on three motorcycles started firing on them killing Rafique s/o Abdur Rehman and his two sons Shafique and Atiq on the spot and during cross firing Munir was also killed from the rival party. Police also confirmed old enmity the cause of the killings.
