ISLAMABAD: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s famous suit, popularly named the ‘Modi Suit’, has entered the Guinness World Records for being the most expensive suit ever sold at a whopping Rs4.31 crore.
The suit was purchased by Laljibhai Tulsibai Patel of Surat, Gujarat for Rs 4,31,31,311 in February, 2015.
The suit has an intricate embroidery of the prime minister’s full name ‘Narendra Damodardas Modi’ lined across its length. Modi had worn the suit during his meet with United States President Barack Obama.
