LALAMUSA: On the call of the Wapda Hydroelectric Union and the Gepco Engineers Association, Gepco staffers observed strike against the appointment of the Gepco CEO here on Thursday.
The staffers also locked 25 sub-divisional ******s of the Gepco to register their protest. The protesting employees gathered in Gujrat where they chanted slogans. Later, they left for Gujranwala where they staged a demonstration.
When contacted, SDO City Abdul Qayyum said that the protest would continue till the removal of the CEO.
