Newlywed Faizan Patel, who married his wife Sana in December, was forced to embark on their picturesque Italian honeymoon alone last week after Sana realized she'd lost her passport.

Faced with a lonely flight, he first turned to a sheet of printer paper with Sana's face on it for companionship. (Hope ** one else sat in that seat!)

You can't blame him. He was going through a rough time.

Don't give up on romance just yet, though: there still might be hope for a two-person honeymoon. In a last-ditch effort to get Sana to Italy, Patel tweeted at Sushma Swaraj, India's minister of external affairs.
